the documentarian and the gamer

ah... screenshots not as kind to me this week, um. filmmaker sh who is doing a documentary about gaming which focuses on hj, a top osu player who happens to be an astronomer? is this anything.

if you don't know what osu is:

anyway so. they keep in touch after the documentary bc you spend like every day with someone for 6 months straight and you become friends. hj keeps trying to take sh on hikes. sh keeps trying to dress hj up in nicer things than ratty tshirts and jeans with organic holes from age.

at some point sh lets it slip that his family have a long history of wanchojang and he weaves in his spare time? probably sh gave him a basket for hj's picnic obsession and hj is like "wow where did you get this" and sh is like "uh. um. i made... it...?"

anyway they go on a lot of picnics and kiss. is what i'm saying.

you know i went to art school for textiles btw bc my first instinct upon seeing basket weaving was to be like "i don't know anything about non-wicker basket weaving but it's not really common in asia" which i recognize is not a normal statement to make off-hand
