Superhero BDSM AU

(this was for a game the mods of Ateez Peach Week ran. you can see the original thread on twitter.)

[cw: accidentally non-SSC, formalized BDSM. safewording. sexy mind control. spanking.]

superheros get stressed, so they're frequently assigned to professional doms as a form of therapy. MG is a healer who gets assigned to HJ, a notorious dom whose psychic powers are unmatched.

MG's heard all the stories about HJ. he's a discipline dom, one who prioritizes formal positions and obedience. they say he doesn't even have to use his powers to make people cry, but he can pull apart your mind and put you back together before the session is halfway done.

it's worrisome, bc MG thinks he has to be perfect. perfect subs like pain, are willing to take whatever their doms decide they deserve. perfect subs are polite, petite, and precious.

perfect means not complaining. it doesn't mean bursting into tears before HJ even raises a hand.

HJ is more than a little concerned by that, because they'd gone over the whole scene and MG seemed enthusiastic. impact play is HJ's specialty, because most of the superheros he sees need him to "punish" them and absolve them of the guilt that comes with being a superhero.

they skip the rest of the scene, going straight to aftercare. when MG seems to have calmed down, HJ asks what went wrong and MG tries to pass it off as nothing, but HJ can't really accept that for safewording. eventually, MG admits he doesn't really... like? pain? at all.

internally, HJ is worried he's going to need to report MG to the Council, but he asks why MG would ask for an impact play punishment if he doesn't like pain. MG, confused about why HJ would ask, says he's a sub, so of course he did.

the logic there is incomprehensible to HJ.

as far as HJ's concerned, MG's said two unrelated things. through more conversation, where HJ has to extract answers from MG like he's disarming a bomb, the picture becomes clearer.

MG isn't a masochist, he's a sadist. bc he's a healer, though, previous doms have assumed things.

the ones that haven't aren't comfortable with exploring that, because it's a bit complicated. usually there would be a third person, but it's difficult to line up three people like that. HJ has some tricks up his sleeve other doms don't, though: he's a psychic.

so their next session is this: HJ kneeling on the bed with his eyes closed, reaching out until he touches the edges of MG's mind and gently spreads out, expanding until he's blanketed across everything MG thinks, feels, sees.

he whispers across MG's mind: go on, hit me.

it lasts until HJ loses enough control that he lets go of MG's mind. MG snaps back into consciousness, unable to focus on anything but the perfect redness of HJ's ass. he runs a hand across the heated flesh, drawing a whimper from HJ.

breathing out, MG checks to see if HJ's okay. then he spreads his hands over reddened flesh, smooths the hurt away, and the cycle repeats.

by the end, both HJ and MG are worn out from the strain of using their respective powers, sprawled across the bed next to each other.

"so," HJ says once he's caught his breath, "same time next week?"

"i want to use the crop next time," MG says, grinning at the way HJ's breath hitches.
